Watershed advocacy
CELP works proactively to protect and revitalize Washington’s rivers and aquifers. CELP monitors, educates and advocates for instream flow protection via rules and plans, working to ensure that agency actions are scientifically credible and protective of fisheries, recreation, aesthetics and the public interest.
CELP will follow watershed planning ~ offering comments, assisting local citizens and conservation groups to participate, supporting the efforts of tribes to protect their water resources, and bringing to bear good information about hydrology and biology.
