Celebrate Waters a Success!

Celebrate Waters 2026 is a wrap! CELP’s signature fundraiser and Ralph W. Johnson Water Hero Award raises $33,000 for Clean, Flowing Water in Washington.

Janette Brimmer honored as a water hero for her legacy of water protection.

Our deepest thanks!

CELP deeply thanks all of our attendees, donors, sponsors and volunteers, as we congratulate water hero Janette Brimmer, senior attorney Earthjustice, for her well deserved award, honoring her impressive legacy of water protection and fighting some of the toughest fights in the interest of tribal rights and the health of our watersheds in Washington and across the country.

Celebrating 30 years as your statewide water protector!

It was a wonderful evening celebrating 30 years as an independent water protection organization, connecting with our founding director Rachael Paschal Osborn, numerous long-time friends, volunteers, members, board members, and partners, as well as new supporters and colleagues. We heard stories of past hard-fought successes, looked to the challenges ahead, and learned of at least one long-term romance and marriage owing to an initial CELP introduction! ;)

We unveiled our new Three-Year Strategy Map, and held a mini auction, featuring artworks by Rachel Osborn, longtime supporter and partner Melissa Bates, a Roslyn experience and gift basket, along with a paddle raise and sponsor support helping us reach $33,000 to support CELP’s future and Clean, Flowing water in Washington.

We look forward to seeing everyone in 2027!
